Liliana Isanto is an Associate Director in the Asia practice based in Singapore. 

She has over a decade’s experience in conducting integrity due diligence assignments in various sectors, asset search investigations, and other business intelligence enquiries focusing in Southeast Asia. She also has considerable experience managing and conducting assignments in the Greater China region.

Prior to joining Risk Advisory, Liliana worked at FTI Consulting, where she worked on business intelligence projects for international law firms, multinational corporations, and development finance institutions. She was responsible for the whole lifecycle of investigative tasks.

My area of expertise

In the past decade, I have worked on investigative projects in most countries of Southeast Asia as well as the Greater China region. Information availability in the region has varied widely over the years and I follow these developments closely to be able to guide our clients on the best strategy to get facts and verify rumours. Having conducted research and interviews into most major sectors of the largest economies of the region, I am familiar with a wide range of industries: from banks in Vietnam to mining and retail in the Philippines, renewable energy and real estate in Indonesia, and petrochemicals in China. 

Why I love what I do

Untangling complex questions and putting the answers into the context of local business and political practices in Asia is probably the most satisfying. It is great to be able to help clients understand the specifics of the diverse countries of the region!
