Risk Advisory is hosting a webinar briefing on Thursday 24 October on the business impact and security implications of the Turkish incursion into Syria. The webinar will be streamed online at 2.30 - 3.30pm BST.
Following a withdrawal of US troops, Turkish forces entered northeastern Syria on 9 October. At time of writing, a pause in the fighting appears to be largely holding. But the arrival last week of Syrian and Russian troops in the northeast will probably hinder Turkey’s plans there. And US sanctions against Turkey threaten already-strained relations between the two.
In this webinar, we will look at the impact of the offensive on security and business operations in Turkey and other regional countries. And we will discuss the outlook for the wider Syrian conflict. At the end of the webinar, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion off the record.
