The Risk Advisory Group crisis workshop provides a unique opportunity for organisations with global operations to participate in an interactive, fast-moving and complex crisis scenario.
Workshop participants will be given the opportunity to act as members of the crisis team for a fictional international company with operations in Seoul. Prior to the start of the simulation exercise participants will be briefed on their “Seoul” office, provided with their company crisis plans and issued with their roles and responsibilities.
Once briefed, the crisis team embark on a roller coaster ride as they field a variety of telephone calls, emails and “WhatsApp” messages from anxious “colleagues”, the media, shareholders and expatriates.
One of the key benefits of a crisis scenario exercise is the ability to discuss and consider decisions of a sensitive nature in a controlled environment. Furthermore, a complex scenario of this nature will invariably identify the real impact of exposures which may previously have been considered irrelevant.
If you know you will be required to support your organisation at a strategic level should the situation in South Korea deteriorate, then you should attend this session. If you are going to play a key role in supporting your colleagues, either in managing operations, human resources, communications, logistics or data during a crisis then you will also find this session beneficial.
