Risk Advisory is pleased to invite you to a breakfast briefing and roundtable discussion on Egypt on Wednesday 14 March, at our London headquarters.

As the first round of a presidential election in Egypt nears, a victory for President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is almost certain. This year began with overt attempts to suppress any political opposition, paving the way for a Sisi win at the end of March. But there are signs that the president is likely to face greater challenges to stability and security in a second term.

In this briefing, a member of our Intelligence & Analysis team, who will have recently returned from Egypt, will discuss our forecast for the outcome of the election and associated security risks. Looking beyond the election, we will also assess the future political and security environment in Egypt.

The event will take the form of a briefing and roundtable discussion. If you are unable to join in person, we will also broadcast it as a live webinar and make a podcast available.
