Tom started his career in professional services as a strategy consultant at Bain and Company and then went on to KPMG where he worked in the Strategic Intelligence practice, advising companies and private equity investors on market and commercial matters in relation to businesses in Europe and North America.
Following five years as a Partner at KPMG, Tom moved into leading professional services organisations. His first leadership role was at Kroll, where he led the European, Asian and eventually global operations as CEO of the Kroll intelligence, investigations and security business. He left Kroll to join the legal services business, Lawyers On Demand, as CEO. That business grew organically and through acquisition to be a global leader, operating in Asia, Australia, the Americas and Europe, supporting corporate legal teams with their contracting, technology and staffing needs. In 2023, the business merged with a US-based litigation support business.
Tom joined the Board of The Risk Advisory Group in 2024. He is also Chair of the executive recruitment firm, BIE.
