On Sunday 11th October, fifteen runners from across Risk Advisory participated in the 2015 Royal Parks Half Marathon. The team, including our CEO and members of our security operations practice, based in Dubai, ran 13.1 miles through Central London in aid of some of our nominated charities 2015 - St Mungo’s Broadway, Blesma and NSPCC.
Cheered on by friends, family and colleagues, the team were fortunate with the weather as clear blue skies provided ideal running conditions and the perfect backdrop for a route which took in some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks such as Hyde Park, Horse Guards Parade and Buckingham Palace. The quickest runner from Risk Advisory was Marko Starcevic, a senior associate within our corporate investigations and disputes team, who completed the course in an impressive 1 hour 42 minutes.
Exceeding their initial fundraising target, the team raised a total of £3,442.94 which will hopefully make a valuable contribution to some incredibly worthwhile causes. Congratulations to all the runners involved and a huge thank you to everyone who supported the Risk Advisory team.
