The latest version of BookRunner®, v10.2, features several new functional enhancements. The following list summarizes the improved areas:
- Complex Pricing.
- Fees and Losses.
- User-Defined Fields.
- Multiple Levels of Basis Pricing.
- Spread Options.
- Cash Month Reporting.
- Back Calculations.
1. Complex Pricing
The Complex Pricing module allows BookRunner® users to capture multi-location, multi-price, tiers and formula- based pricing for individual transactions. Complex pricing provides for increased flexibility in modeling various transactions.
2. Fees and Losses
An enhanced Fees-and-Losses structure allows for more functionality and increased flexibility in entering associated costs in transactions. The module allows for the varying of fees and losses at the daily level and also provides the ability to capture multiple per unit and flat rate fees, as well as the ability to capture volumetric transaction losses as payments or in-kind.
3. User-Defined Fields
The User- Defined Fields module enables customer users to define, enter, and display user- defined field values on a set of pre-determined forms. The module also allows users to incorporate user- defined fields in externally created reports.
4. Multi-Level Basis Pricing
Multi-Level Basis Pricing enables users to set up a price hub as a basis point to another price hub that has already been defined as a basis point to some other price hub.
5. Spread Options
BookRunner® now provides the ability to capture and quantify the risk around calendar, location, and cross-commodity Spread Options.
6. Cash-Month Reporting
The Cash Month Reporting module has been improved to handle the intricacies of the CGPR 7a monthly natural gas price index mechanism.
7. Back Calculations
Users can now produce reports today based on historical transaction and market pricing data by performing recalculations of positions and valuations.
