PRMIA
PRMIA stands for Professional Risk Managers' International Association. PRMIA is a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to the excellence in risk management. The PRMIA Mission is "to provide a free and open forum for the promotion of sound risk management standards and practices globally". It is a member owned and member run entity with chapters in 151 countries. Membership in PRMIA is free and entirely non-commercial. The Calgary chapter of PRMIA is headed by Reza Simchi, Senior Quantitative Specialist from Nexen Inc. The Calgary chapter has had a very active profile, with monthly seminars throughout the year except during the summer. Here is a list of our recent presentations:
